DAVE CHAPPELLE BUYS OHIO LAND TO BLOCK DEVELOPER
Dave Chappelle bought a large plot of land to prevent a land developer from settling into his Ohio village.
Dave’s agents confirm he just bought many acres of Yellow Springs, OH land from Oberer Land Developers, Ltd., who had announced plans for a 52-acre subdivision.
Dave came out swinging at a town council meeting in February.

Chappelle criticised Oberer’s concept and threatened to pull his own restaurant/comedy club from the region.
The council approved the development, but Dave may have blocked it by buying Oberer’s land.
Dave reportedly bought 19 acres. We’re trying to confirm if the comedian is still at war with the developer after his recent chess move.
