In the most recent episode of “The Kardashians,” West admitted that he insulted one of Kardashian’s dress choices during their divorce.
“I got to a point where I would ask his advice for everything down to what I wear. Even now I’m having panic attacks, like what do I wear?” Kardshian explained.
Despite the fact that Kardashian was styled by West for her appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” the SKIMS founder said she chose her own clothing for an appearance at the WSJ Magazine’s Innovator Awards.
“I was like, ‘How do I wear something that hasn’t been pre-vetted first?”
Kardashian’s ensemble, which included an SKIMS dress and gloves, was reportedly chastised by West.
“He called me afterwards,” the KKW Beauty founder recalled. “He told me my career’s over and then he showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar.”
West assisted Kardashian with more than just her “SNL” attire. The “Donda” singer is also said to have assisted her with her speech for the show.
In February 2021, Kardashian filed for divorce from West. While West continued to spend time with the children, she and the rapper had little in common at the time.
“I mean, he would still see the kids and stuff,” Kardashian said. “Him and I just took a minute of not talking. And I think in relationships, it’ll be like that. I hope we, you know, are the co-parenting goals at the end of the day.”
Kardashian and West have had a tumultuous public divorce. The artist had been venting his grievances with Kardashian over their children’s upbringing and the reality star’s new lover, Pete Davidson.
Since being banned from Instagram for 24 hours in March, West has remained silent on social media. According to a spokeswoman for Meta, the parent company of Instagram, the rapper was banned due to a violation of the platform’s hate speech, harassment, and bullying regulations.
Kardashian alleged in court documents that West’s Instagram posts caused her “mental distress” prior to his ban.
Kardashian stated in a court petition acquired by Fox News Digital, “I very much desire to be divorced.”
“I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so. Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress.”
