Snoop Dogg Reveals $250,000 Price Tag for Guest Verse
Snoop Dogg’s guest verse will set you back a hefty money. To add his West Coast flavour to a song, the veteran rapper revealed his beginning fee of $250,000. Snoop clarified on the Full Send Podcast on Wednesday (April 20) that the price does not include a guaranteed cameo in a music video.
“You’ll get about 16 bars,” he shared “And when it’s time to do the video, I need to get another $250,000 up out of you. And you only got an hour so get to filming.”
For over 30 years, the veteran rapper has shown his inventive flow on hundreds of songs in a variety of genres, thus the price tag comes with status and expertise. Snoop Dogg has collaborated with Wiz Khalifa, Jay Rock, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, D. Smoke, Lil Wayne, Method Man, and others in the last five years.
Partnership with Korean boy band
Snoop Dogg has hinted a collaboration with BTS, a Korean boy band. In February, he revealed that the group had approached him about collaborating. During the podcast, he stated that the partnership will go place.
“It’s official like a referee with a whistle,” he said. “I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”
