Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian get married legally in Santa Barbara.
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have married — and this time it’s legal! A source told ET that the pair married lawfully on Sunday in a courthouse in Santa Barbara, California.
“Kourtney and Travis are now legally married,” the source claims, “but they want to hold a huge wedding at a later date.” “To make their wedding official, they held a smaller, low-key affair. There were several family members present, and they shot photographs for posterity.”
According to an eyewitness, the couple held a photoshoot outside the Santa Barbara courtroom with family present.
“Travis was dressed in a black tuxedo, while Kourtney was dressed in a white gown. MJ, Kourtney’s grandmother, was present, as was Travis’ father “According to the eyewitness. “They posed in a black convertible with a “just married” placard on the back and cans rattling around inside. They then got out of the car and walked alone to the courthouse. It appeared to be a low-key affair with few people there. They were accompanied by their own cameras and crew.”
According to another eyewitness, “Kourtney and Travis spent almost an hour snapping photos outside of the Superior Court of California in Santa Barbara this afternoon on the courthouse’s Santa Barbara street. They posed in the automobile and walked along the sidewalk, the courthouse steps, and in front of the car. They appeared to be really in love and looked adorable together. In most of the images, they were kissing, especially in the automobile.”
The couple’s lawful marriage came after an illegal wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in April. Kourtney and Travis danced and kissed while exchanging vows during a 10- to 15-minute ceremony, according to Marty Frierson, proprietor of the One Love Wedding Chapel.
Kourtney and Travis did not exchange rings, according to Frierson, and instead celebrated by tossing a bunch of fresh roses.
Kourtney and Travis both shared photos from their Vegas trip on Instagram a few days after the ceremony.
“Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas), a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no licence) at 2am, after an awesome night and a little tequila,” Kourtney wrote with PDA photos. “Perfection comes with practise.”
Meanwhile, a source told ET that the “fun, somewhat unplanned occasion” was “ahead of their actual wedding this spring.”
According to the source, “Travis thought it would be a lot of fun and cute to remember their love this way.” “Kourtney is all over heels in love with Travis and would do anything for him.”
While their first ceremony was not legally binding, the couple is “extremely happy to continuing celebrating together and to recognise their love with their friends and family,” according to the source.
“Travis enjoys flaunting his love for Kourtney and can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with her,” the person claimed. “Kourtney is overjoyed and believes she is in a whole different universe than she was with Scott [Disick].”
Kourtney and Travis got engaged in October, ten months after they began dating as longtime friends and neighbours. The pair planned a “intimate” wedding ceremony, a source told ET in March.
The couple is also looking to grow their family, according to the source. Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, are Kourtney’s children, while Travis is the father of Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16.
“Travis and Kourtney want to start a family of their own. It’s crucial — and thrilling — to them “according to the source “… “The kids of Kourtney and Travis get along swimmingly. The dynamic is generally positive and healthy.”
