Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins’ Children Get a Message from Machine Gun Kelly
It’s natural to focus on the fan reaction when a star dies, such as Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters. Everyone reflects on their previous efforts and fantasises about what they could have accomplished if they were still alive. Gun-machine Kelly, on the other hand, recalled Hawkins’ children and had a few kind words for them.
The death of Taylor Hawkins rocked the music industry.
Many people were shocked to learn about Hawkins’ death on March 25. He was only 50 years old at the time, and he was on tour in South America. Everything seemed to be going well for Hawkins until we learnt that he had died.

Hawkins was discovered in his hotel room in Bogotá, Colombia. The Foo Fighters officially cancelled their Grammy Awards performance after learning of his death. As of now, their upcoming tour dates have been cancelled due to the group’s grief.
Hawkins did, however, have a role to perform at the Grammys. During her performance, Billie Eilish donned a black T-shirt with a picture of Hawkins on it. Trevor Noah, the host of the 2022 Grammy Awards, will eventually show a heartfelt memorial video during the time period where the Foo Fighters were supposed to perform.
That night, the Foo Fighters took home three prizes. These were awarded Best Rock Performance (“Making a Fire”), Best Rock Song (“Waiting On a War”), and Best Rock Album (“Medicine at Midnight”), respectively.
Taylor Hawkins’ children were contacted by Machine Gun Kelly.
Hawkins was a frequent guest on the Howard Stern Show, thus it was only natural for Machine Gun Kelly to bring up Hawkins’ death when he appeared on the show on March 28. Howard expressed his delight in having Hawkins on the show. Hawkins was “a gentle kind soul,” according to him, and he enjoyed talking with him.

Gun-machine Kelly concurred. He got to spend some time with Hawkins in Paraguay just two nights before his death, as it turned out.
Machine Gun Kelly and the Foo Fighters were set to perform together at a festival. However, due to inclement weather, the event was cancelled. The Foo Fighters didn’t let it stop them from having a good time, and they invited Machine Gun Kelly and his crew to join them on the rooftop of their hotel.
Hawkins made a point of speaking to everyone, including his personal assistant, according to Machine Gun Kelly. He went out of his way to get to know everyone. Machine Gun Kelly, when asked about Hawkins’ children, remarked, “I really want to thank him and let his kids know that he made us feel … so confident in ourselves and loved, and your father [was] a great, great man, and we were all lucky to know him.”
