Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have been married since 2010, and their relationship appears to be continuing well. The couple walked out in Sydney, Australia, on May 25 to promote their forthcoming film “Interceptor.” Hemsworth, 38, sported a smart black three-piece suit and a slightly unbuttoned white button-down, while Pataky, 45, chose a beautiful long black gown. Hemsworth shared photographs of the couple on Instagram shortly after the premiere, writing, “Amazing night at the premiere of my gorgeous and amazing wife’s new film Interceptor!”
Pataky plays JJ Collins, a military captain who is compelled to battle a coordinated assault on her missile interceptor installation in “Interceptor.” Pataky had to go through a rigorous training routine for the picture. “I was practising four to five hours a day, memorising all the movements in the four months preceding up to filming,” Pataky told Tudum. “They’re all 800 of them. It was a lot of effort, but I loved every minute of it.”
Hemsworth executive produced the picture, and it appears that he taught Pataky the ropes using his significant past action film experience. “He was such a bully!” Pataky stated in an interview on “The Project” on May 24. “‘This is the ideal angle when you punch,’ he was just saying. He was only demonstrating how to do it and how to take the proper stance. He’s been doing it for quite some time now. It was wonderful to have him here. He has been a staunch supporter of mine since the first time he saw the script. ‘You have to do this,’ he replied. It’ll be entertaining; you’ll enjoy it. I know how much you enjoy this genre of film.'”
Pataky and Hemsworth have three children, Sasha, Tristan, and India, and live in Byron Bay, Australia, Hemsworth’s hometown. The couple frequently shares gorgeous images of their children on social media, and they also support each other on a regular basis.
Hemsworth will star in the upcoming film “Thor: Love and Thunder,” which will be released on July 8. Meanwhile, “Interceptor” will be available on Netflix on June 3rd.
