With 258 kilometres on a single charge, an electric delivery van sets a Guinness World Record.
A GM company that makes commercial electric delivery vans received a boost this week when it was named to the Guinness Book of World Records.
On Earth Day, BrightDrop Zevo 600 driver Stephen Marlin set a new record for the most distance travelled by an electric van on a single charge, according to the company. On Wednesday, he drove a FedEx Zevo 600 from New York City to Washington, D.C., a distance of almost 260 miles.
Marlin was delivering a consignment of cleaning items from Full Circle, a FedEx customer that specialises in sustainable home care products.
