New season will premiere on August 18
According to reports, the streaming service will soon announce that the David E. Kelley drama, starring Nicole Kidman, has been renewed for a second season.
When the choice to continue the drama is finalised, it will be filed as an ongoing drama rather than a limited series for this year's awards season.
On August 18, 2021, the first season of Nine Perfect Strangers, consisting of eight episodes, launched on Hulu.
The drama took place over a 10-day period and centred on a group of individuals visiting a health-and-wellness resort in the fictional town of Cabrillo, California.
Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto .
Season two details, such as casting and a storyline summary, are still being worked out ahead of the renewal announcement.
The first three episodes of the new season will premiere on August 18, followed by weekly releases of the remaining episodes.
Kelley conceived the show, and he and John Henry Butterworth and Samantha Strauss co-wrote the first season.
