Last Tuesday, June 28, Barker, 46, alarmed fans with a Tweet that said "God help me," prompting reports that he was transported to the hospital.
Thankfully, Barker is now on the mend following what turned out to be a severe case of pancreatitis brought on by a routine operation, according to a statement released over the weekend.

"I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great,” Barker said “But after dinner I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalised ever since.
During the endoscopy I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe, life-threatening pancreatitis."
